Area Attractions:
Richmond, Virginia's capitol, is approximately 47 miles to the south and has many areas of interest for the entire family. 29 miles to the north is Fredericksburg with many Civil War and Colonial Era historical sites and battlefields. Paramount’s Kings Dominion, which is located just a 1/2 hour drive from Lake Holly, is a large amusement park with many breathtaking roller coasters, including Volcano and The Blast Coaster, plus a new 16-acre WaterWorks water park. Exit 98 off I-95.
Tourist Attractions:

- The Fredericksburg Visitor's Center - home to many civil war battle fields is 30 miles north.
- Colonial Williamsburg and theJamestown Settlement both of which are approximately 86 miles to the south east.
There is also Washington, DC (88 miles to the north) and Richmond, Virginia (30 miles to the south). Both cities are rich in tourist attractions.
